Here is what it is about:
The story of the modern « Wave Finishing » goes back to the 1970s, when Rollwasch® created the first rotary tub machine, now known as RotoTEP, which was the precursor to the RoboTEP systems.
The RotoTEP program, where the key players are a rotating tub combined with a servo-assisted mechanical arm, is, so to speak, the ancestor of the more modern RoboTEP program, which is based on the use of robotics.
The RoboTEP program of systems for « Wave Finishing » is based on machines from the RoboTEP series. In reality, the differences at the hardware level, that is, concerning the machine and its composition, compared to the first machines of the 1970s, are not limited to just having a robot instead of a mechanical arm.
Thanks to the most modern technologies developed independently by Rollwasch® with exclusive patents, the RoboTEP systems and the processes used therein represent the pinnacle of innovation of the third millennium.
The most interesting innovation, subject to international patent, is precisely related to the evolution of the rotating tank, now available divided into two or more concentric channels, each characterized by its own peripheral speeds and for the different load of finishing media.
Discovering this technology often means solving, with a single installation, multiple significant aspects of finishing. In our testing laboratory and showroom, a demo system is always available!
