Non-accessible Content

a) Non-compliance with Law 4/2004

Following an internal technical self-assessment, supported by automatic analysis tools, the following accessibility issues were identified:

  • Links lacking textual descriptions or with unclear purposes (requirements 2.4.4, 2.4.9, 4.1.2)

  • Interactive elements (e.g., buttons or clickable icons) with touch targets too small on mobile devices (2.5.5)

  • Incorrect use of ARIA attributes, not aligned with WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices

  • Limitations in zooming and reflow of text, which may affect usability for users with low vision (1.4.4, 1.4.10)

  • Incorrect heading hierarchy, with missing level-1 headings and inconsistent nesting of titles (best practices)

  • Lack of ARIA landmarks for some main layout sections

  • Insufficient color contrast between text and background in several areas of the site (1.4.3, 1.4.6) — over 140 elements involved

  • Empty HTML elements or elements lacking informative content (1.3.1)

b) Disproportionate burden

Rollwasch Italiana S.p.A. has determined that a full and immediate compliance of the entire website would represent a disproportionate burden, taking into account the site’s original technical framework, the resources currently available, and the company’s operational planning.

Therefore, accessibility improvements will be implemented progressively, through a continuous enhancement plan aligned with available resources and upcoming updates to the site.
